ICE CREAM

SIMPLE ICE CREAM

- 1 1/2 cups full cream milk

- 1 cup white sugar

- 1 pinch of flaked salt

- 2 1/2 cups thickened cream

- 1 Tbsp pure vanilla extract

- 1/2 jar any Mitch's Preserves Jam

Whisk to combine milk, sugar and salt until dissolved. Stir in thickened cream and vanilla.

Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours, or overnight. Whisk or mix together again before putting mixture into the ice cream maker.

Turn on unit and let mix for 40 minutes. stir through your favourite Mitch's Preserves Jam before placing in the freezer.
